How to empty the garbage like a man
One of the benefits of having a family of six is garbage. Okay, well, maybe not that much of a benefit. And we are pretty lucky to have as little garbage as we do; we generally have 1–2 bags per week. Recycling and composting really reduces what goes into our garbage can.

Having a family of six means some of the garbage ends up on the garbage can rather than it.
Well, here’s how to empty a garbage can like a man.
Remove the lid. Your lid may not come off. Be sure, your big feet are in the way.
Pull up the extra amount of bag.
Bunch the extra amount of bag into each hand.
Tie the two bunches into half a granny knot.
Tie the rest of the granny knot.
Pull the bag out of the can.
Take it outside, and dump it into the garbage bin.
Take a new bag out of the box.
Unfold the new bag.
Open the bag.
Add it to the garbage can. Make sure your four-year-old is watching you.
Pull extra bag over the sides of the can.
Wash the lid.
Reassemble. Be sure to leave paint drips on the lid.
